Ean High is an advanced doctoral candidate in the English Department at Northwestern University. He is also a 2017-2018 Fellow of the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation.     

His research and writing have been supported by residencies at the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts and the Special Collections Library of Haverford College.

Working at the intersection of literary studies and religious studies, Ean joins ongoing efforts to revitalize critical knowledge of religious life and expression in the study of American literature by investigating the quiet prevalence of Atlantic Quakerism in the hemispheric Americas.
